ETRA 2025 – Poster Presentation by Zhanna Chuikova at the Conference in Japan

Junior Researcher at the Cognitive Health and Intelligence Centre, Zhanna Chuikova, participated in the ETRA 2025 (Eye Tracking Research & Applications) conference, which took place in Tokyo, Japan, from May 26 to 29, 2025. ETRA is one of the most well-known conferences in the field of eye tracking, bringing together experts from cognitive psychology, clinical psychology, neuroscience, and machine learning.

Zhanna presented a poster titled “Cognitive Flexibility and Cognitive Demands: An Eye Tracking Investigation,” sharing the results of an eye-tracking study aimed at examining oculomotor parameters related to cognitive flexibility during an attention task with varying levels of difficulty. The study’s results attracted interest from other conference participants, facilitating valuable knowledge and experience exchange. Among the most discussed topics were studies of eye movement parameters associated with various cognitive processes, emotions, and mental states, as well as eye movements as predictors of psychiatric and neurological disorders, and cardiovascular diseases. This diversity of topics serves as a source of new knowledge and inspiration for future research.
